Off-Season RECAP

With the West Kelowna Warriors set to open up Main Camp on Monday morning at Royal Lepage Place, let's take a look back at the off-season for the Warriors. Since dropping Game #5 of the 1st Round to the BCHL Playoffs, there have been multiple changes to the roster and personnel.

Brent Gough has left the Warriors to coach in the Arizona Bobcat AAA program down in the USA, however remains as the Director of Player Personnel. Shae Naka will return as the assistant coach to Rylan Ferster, after helping out last year while with the Pursuit of Excellence Academy.

The Warriors have 9 players returning from last years team, including new 20 year olds Kylar Hope and Kyle Marino.

Rylan Ferster was busy in the off-season making several trades to acquire multiple players and future considerations.

With the deals, the Warriors will have 13 players signed heading into training camp on Monday.

The Warriors will hold a 4-day camp, which will see them play the Penticton Vees on Wednesday August 26th at Royal Lepage Place. The game, which is likely to see rookie-laden lineups, starts at 7:00 pm and tickets are just $5.
