The West
Kelowna Warriors will look for 2nd place in the BCHL Interior
tonight as they take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. The two teams are currently
tied with 14 points.
The Warriors
are coming off a win over the Powell River Kings on Saturday night, when
Stephen Heslop picked up his first shutout of the season.
Streaks were
continued as well, as Jonathan Desbiens and Garrett Forster each now have a
9-game point streak, and Liam Blackburn’s now sits at 8.
It will be a
tough test for the Warriors tonight, as Angus Redmond has been good to start
the season, posting a 2.26 GAA in 10 games.
The
Silverbacks haven’t played a lot on the road so far, just 1 game outside of the
BCHL Showcase, so the Warriors will look to put their hot home start to good
use in this one.
Don’t miss
tomorrow’s action either, as the Prince George Spruce Kings come into town to
take on the Warriors with Wrestler Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart in
attendance.
