It's a busy week for West Kelowna, who then face the Vernon Vipers at Kal Tire Place on Friday, before hosting the Victoria Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon, 2:30 at Royal Lepage Place.
The Warriors dropped a decision to Salmon Arm last Friday, before controlling the game against Prince George in a 5-2 victory. The coaching staff was pleased with the effort in both games, although the Warriors started slow against the Silverbacks.
The Vees pose another big test to West Kelowna, as they have won 12 straight games, vaulting themselves to #3 in the CJHL rankings, and leading the Interior Divison by 6 points.
Last season, the Warriors ended the Vees 13 game winning streak with a win on Wednesday November 5th at the SOEC. Earlier this season, West Kelowna became the first team to beat the Wenatchee Wild in BCHL action. "Great moments are born from great opportunity" - Herb Brooks.
