These two teams had a lot of bad blood last season, and with some players on opposite teams now (Mac Ferner and Hunter Zandee) it will be interesting to see the intensity early on in the hockey game.
The Vipers have gotten strong goaltending from Andrew Shortridge this season, including a BCHL Player of the Week performance last week, where Shortridge went 3-0 with a 1.33 GAA and .968 Sv % in 2 wins over Merritt and one over Trail.
West Kelowna will look to create traffic in front of Shortridge, something they didn't do a very good job of on Wednesday in Penticton. There were a lot of shots in the game for the Warriors that were easily seen by Zach Driscoll, so they'll look to make it more difficult tonight.
The Warriors may be healthy for the first time in a month tonight as well, as Kristian Blumenschein's time on the IR is up, and Tanner Campbell may also return to the lineup.
The Vipers have been good at home to start the season, while the Warriors haven't won away from Royal Lepage Place except for the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack. They'll be looking to buck the trend tonight.
