Jan 15th vs. Trail PREVIEW

The Warriors finish up a 4-game home stand with another important game against the Trail Smoke Eaters. Last night, the Smoke Eaters fell 2-0 to Prince George at the Coliseum, so West Kelowna will look to push the pace early and take advantage of Trail's bus legs.

A couple line-up changes and notes on the docket for the Warriors tonight, as Brett Mennear returns after missing the last 5 games with an undisclosed ailment. Mennear has not played since December 19th in Penticton. Also, Keelan Williams will get the nod in goal, making his 1st start since January 3rd against Surrey. Bailey MacBurnie will go in net for Trail.

The Warriors will look to take care of business again tonight, and hope for some out of town help on the scoreboard from the Vernon Vipers, in order to play for 2nd place in the Interior tomorrow night in Salmon Arm. The final 17 games of the season should be an entertaining watch of the standings.

Liam Blackburn has been red-hot against the Smoke Eaters this season, with 10 points in 3 games, as the Warriors have defeated Trail by scores of 8-3, 7-3, 4-1. Other top players against the Smoke Eaters are Rylan Yaremko (1 G, 6 A), and Kylar Hope (4 G, 2 A). Ross Armour has 5 points against West Kelowna this season, but will not dress tonight.
