The Warriors took the victory in Trail to finish the 2015 portion of the season with a 4-1 win. Liam Blackburn scored once on the power play and once into an empty net, while Jonathan Desbiens (PP) and Quin Foreman also scored. Matthew Greenfield was stellar in goal once again, making 34 saves to raise his Sv% to .962
The Warriors have had a ton of trouble with the Centennials this season, dropping 4 of 5 including all 3 at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. It's been a tough go for West Kelowna, but maybe a fresh 2016 start will give them a new outlook.
These two teams will meet twice in a week, as the Centennials visit Royal Lepage Place next Friday on January 8th.
The Warriors will likely not have Brett Mennear or Tanner Campbell back in their lineup tonight, so expect Bryan Nelson to see some minutes up front, as well as increased ice time for players like Reed Gunville and Jared Marino.
